Statewide Online Public School Open to Students in Kindergarten
Through 12th Grade
MIDWEST CITY, Okla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Oklahoma
Virtual Charter Academy (OVCA), an online public charter school
authorized by the Statewide Virtual Charter School Board, is now
accepting enrollment applications for the 2017-18 school year. OVCA is
open to students throughout the state in kindergarten through 12th grade.
OVCA offers online instruction, hands-on curriculum and the support of
state-licensed teachers to cultivate an individualized education for
each student. The school’s rigorous and engaging curriculum includes
courses in English/language arts, math, science, history, world
languages, art and music, as well as numerous elective and Advanced
Placement® courses for high school students.
College- or career-minded students can choose from a broad range of
profession-focused courses in order to gain a competitive edge for the
future, discover their path after high school or explore a possible
college major. High school students can also earn college credits with
concurrent enrollment through in-person or online courses at colleges
and universities throughout the state.
