Virginia Gaglianone

Editor-at-large Virginia Gaglianone is a bilingual editor and reporter who have been working for La Opinion since 2006. Before La Opinion, Virginia worked as a reporter for The Wave, The Culver City Star and The Independent. She also worked as the editor for La Ola, a Spanish weekly publication. Before working for La Opinion, she collaborated with KPFK, 90.7 Pacifica Radio, and KCSN radio. Virginia earned a master’s degree in Humanities, and a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from California State University Northridge, where she graduated summa cum laude. She is one of the participating reporters in the USC Center for Health Journalism Reporting Collaborative project on California’s uninsured.
